That whole execution was a game changer for me. I had three major suspects: Beth, Kyle and Brian. Beth and Kyle are gone so that only leaves Brian. Either I won this game already or this is my last episode. Either way, I'm happy that I played and I gave it my all.

Still, I'm not fixating on anything. I still have minor suspects. Maybe if they do something wierd, maybe I'd find them to be the actual mole.

I'm excited for this week. :)

Somebody identifying himself as a dead player posted on my blog. I don't know if this guy/girl is a real player but I'm worried it is a ploy to get me to break the rules to get me eliminated from the game. I need advice:

Should I just take the Tagboard off? I mean, I like players in the game to leave me messages there but I'm worried about the other dead players. On the other hand, can you remind the dead players not to interfere with the game, if they are? I want to win this with as much integrity as I can.

Also, let this be my advance notice: I MIGHT NOT MAKE IT TO THE LIVE CHALLENGE, if there is another massive SE Asia quake or if my internet decides to fuck up.

I really suspected Kyle and Brian. The mole, Elise continues to fly under my radar by withholding her quiz information, appearing to be a stupid player.

I haven't played this game before... so I'm not really sure on ow to proceed having tons of MBs. How are they viewing me as a player? Are they suspecting me for having so many? Are they thinking me as more of a player since I am going for the bonuses? I'm kinda iffy on this one. I understand this is not survivor or mafia or BB where a majority can have a direct impact on the way I play the game but somehow, with my lack of experience in this game, something seems to be missing in my strategy.

I know I have to have some level of social game but I don't know how exactly to play it. I mean, I'm on good terms with most of the cast. But if this is survivor, I'm sure I'd not get even half way. Does this mean I have an "acceptable" social gameplan for this game, or is there something I still need to do? The only Mole season I've watched fully is the latest one... and most contestants there didn't really have a social game that is something to the calibre of Survivor or Amazing race (where alliances are vital and you try not to piss anyone off). Most of them are laid back, just hung around and didn't really try to be chummy with everyone. Do I have to put down my "fun" persona for the sake of making my game better? Or can I keep that persona up to make the game more socially exciting for myself and for others (by socially exciting I don't mean taking pleasure in pushing people's buttons, more like talking to people beyond the game to have fun and to make the game lighter)?

I'm really on the crossroads right now and probably I'm going to use this week to straighten out my social game.

Again I didn't write everything in the confessionals I sent to Travis. Instead, I wrote most of them in a very trusty Excel file which you would see in my next five posts. In the excel file are the Quiz answers from each player, which answers I actually chose (in bold-blue text), whom got executed (in red), and those whom I cleared (light blue/gray). I REALLY think this is going to be my last day in the game because of the penalty. All the players have been active one way or another and I think most of them will submit their quizzes. Beth apparently isn't going to have any penalties so now I have a 50-50 shot of being executed.

I do have some mole bucks to spend but I'm not going to touch them. I think I have done extremely well to look moley, and surviving this quiz without spending any bucks would help my game.

I really hope this works.

OMG My Private Confessional Sucks Like Anna Nicole Smith!

Seriously. Your private confessionals are AMAZING. Despite me really being outspoken in the game, I gave Travis only small snippets of what I thought and kept most of it to myself. And eventhough I kept my thoughts to myself, I didn't write them as extensively as some of you did.

Hats off to Jill, Blaise, Brian and Breaux. (I'll reply to some of yours when I have the time!)

A Mole, A Winner and a Porn Site Administrator

I have promised to write sooner but I have been TERRIBLY busy. I will try to write as much as I can in the coming days, but definitely I'll finish writing what I intend to write. There's a lot of stuff that I think people would want to know about.

First off, I'm Ross D the guy who was playing as Ginger for the sixth season of Online Mole Challenge. Currently, I live in the Philippines but I am slated to move to California early next year (my immigration papers have been approved). I am currently finishing my Master's Degree in Computer Science and am planning to find a career in games or teaching.

I was invited by one of the previous players Yves/David whom I met playing Spies 3: The Collective (hosted by another former OMC player, Sam). I watched the fifth season of the Mole and followed it heavily by donloading from torrents and I really enjoyed the show (although I knew pretty much who the mole was) and since I wasn't part of any game at that point, maybe I'd give it a try. I applied and everything else is history.

Now that introductions are over, I'd like to first congratulate Jill the winner. You have taken a huge pot home and I think you deserve it. You were never boring but at the same time you never compromised you game, keeping most people guessing whether you were the mole or not. As a player, you have made it a very worthwhile and fine experience for your competitors. You deserve every penny of it.

Next, to the mole I never caught -- Elise. You have mastered the art of manipulating people and I appreciate the fact that you really made it challenging for me and several other players. You were also entertaining to watch and compete the entire game, as you rarely kept your conversations or confessionals dull. I think you went in and you achieved what you tried to achieve -- to be both formidable and pleasant to each of your victims.

As for the runner-up Blaise, you did a great job too. You were my second pick as the mole. I still congratulate you for a job well done.

And finally to the host, Travis: congratulations for a very well organized and successful game. Few online reality games make it to their final episodes with most of their cast intact and attending the reunion, and for that you should be proud of yourself. It may have not gone as perfectly as you wanted to be but I believe your tenacity, discipline, judgement and creativity has helped create this wonderful game to be appreciated by many players. I'm sure you have learned many lessons from this pet-project of yours and I hope you remember that you will continue to get better. Again, my thanks for hosting this game and congratulations!

First of all, thank you so much for hosting this game. I hope it continues to be good as this last episode was (me leaving this episode just made it tons better :-p).

I think I did a pretty good job despite being executed today. I thought it was a good run and I made it this far! I outlasted some of the more active players and I was able to contribute to my own pot and to the team's pot as well. I think I should have fooled a few people early on too. I don't have many regrets.

I really don't have a strong clue on who the mole is now (and Brian should be laughing on every private confessional I wrote!). If I were to take a wild guess, it could be Blaise, but a lot of them have me fooled for a pretty long time!

Oh well, everything will be revealed in due time and I should be there for the finale (just throw me an email!). Thanks and good luck finishing this awesome game.

MOST AMAZING EPISODE EVAH!

Yes it was. After the worst series of games last episode, Travis bites us in the ass (who says biting can't be a metaphor for something good!). We take 4 dollars into the pot, and five of us get two molebucks for the bonus Mafia challenge! How cool is that! Granted, there were some players who really tried to mess us up in the Humpty Dumpty challenge, but it was all good since Blaise did a good job at trying to figure out everything!

And since we are all happy and will most probably be not bitching this episode, I will leave you all with a quick but useful web tip, this time for making those weird pop ups and ads to go away!

1. Download Firefox. If you don't have it, you should be missing like, one-half of your life! Seriously! If you have Firefox 2, you should know that the you should click the link to get Firefox 3! It's the same coolness with less memory leaks!
2. Install Adblock Plus! Not only it automatically blocks bad ads, you can actually block images/flash stuff manually that you do not like too much!
3. Restart Firefox when you are prompted to do so!

Confessional Five - Moley Mitch... NOT

This is really a shocker. Like, I was so sure Mitch was the mole. He probably thought like he really knew who the mole was but he was so wrong I guess! I won't be missing Mitch as a player. I mean, like he really messed this whole thing up a couple of times just to look like the mole! He was just a bad player! I don't think of him as careless or something. I think it was more like he couldn't get his scheduling straight! Like his confessionals are always there, but they are always a few hours late! Or maybe, his oversubscription to porn and spam got to him eventually and he just decided to quit! Those penis enlargement ads and inheritance claims should have filled his inbox and drove him nuts! Still, I like him as a person. He was really fun to talk to! But with a pot like this, I guess we can do away with having a fun person to talk to rather than having him just mess up and take money from the pot! And his penalties probably saved me from another execution!

Speaking of execution, I'm like down to three (four if THAT person starts acting weird again!) suspects right now and I think that I should be getting somewhere with the way people are acting during challenges. I probably need an exemption... badly.

Also, I have to mention! I really hated Elise early game for being Beth-like and Fifteen-like with boring confessionals and I have to admit I was wrong. Way to go girl! Make them pay! Let's show them girl power the next mission! <3

Mitch you mole! You really like taking money out of the pot don't you! And like, you didn't even bother to attend the two fucked up challenges that we had live so that you wouldn't have to mess up. And apparently, even though all of us were trying, it was pretty much easy to mess the whole thing up. You didn't have to do anything really and knowing what the challenges are ahead of time, you just have to... just NOT show up! How convenient is that!

I Want An Exemption

Anybody wondering why there aren't any exemptions offered lately? Am I like being naive for thinking that there will be more of them in this game? I thought like, there are going to be less exemptions but like we only had one pair of exemptions in the last three weeks and like only a few of us actually got the chance to compete for the exemptions. I mean, if we had an exemption challenge, wouldn't that makes things more exciting! Not only that, getting one might actually help me in this game! Especially if I have like three or maybe five suspects running around trying to look moley! I hope the next challenge will help me in figuring out who it really is.

This is totally fabulous! I'm still like totally shocked that I'm still here. I thought I really messed up that quiz! I have like, four suspects and I had to like spread my answers as much as I can again and I guess I'm just lucky that Kyle got those penalties. I don't really care that much... the important thing is that I'm still here! And, I'm halfway though this game! Kyle was as sneaky as he can be the entire game and it is a shock to see him get executed! I was kinda sure he was the mole after surviving a -2 on the quiz! And now, he could have saved me from execution!

On that note, it's like everybody want to look like the mole! Like, I'm not going to post some fake confessional that says I'm the mole! I mean, it's ridiculous. Would the mole really make a fake confessional with fake mole clues or a fake claim of what she thinks as the mole? I just find it a total waste of time and space! I'd rather post something useful and entertaining! As for me, I'd rather not do that! I find it insulting to the mole! If I was the mole, I'd be REALLY angry. Like, somebody wants to do take credit for all the crap I'm doing? That's like... violating my personal space!

I actually like, have an idea! Since we are actually low on the pot, why don't we all try to be nice for a change and be actually honest for one episode! I mean, then the mole would be like the only one lying and sabotaging. Then, we'd all know who the mole is! If we know who the mole is, then we can keep him from doing all the crap he was supposed to do, and we actually get to play for a bigger pot! Doesn't everybody want that? Paul on that idea got it right:

"We haven't got to the betrayal or lying challenges yet where we could lose all money gained in one swift blow by someone. They are when we shout and yell, not yet. We need this pot to be as large as possible now so that when they come, we have something to be proud of."

Oh I forgot to say something nice about Beth:

You were a total waste of space and I find that you didn't deserve to be here. Your confessionals sucked and was a more boring read than the Yellow Pages... in Chinese. You never added anything to the pot and you never gave us anything exciting to talk about. With your existence, I feel sorry for the likes of Brandon, Cheri and Richard who were 101% into the game and 1000% more into the game than you were. You were a waste of space for this fabulous and well prepared game. Share a bed with Fifteen. I'm not going to be a hypocrite -- I'm SO glad you are gone.

Yes. Perfect proof why I think Kyle is glib about his analysis of discarding Mitch as the mole (which makes him as moley as Mitch is! Trying to distract everybody on who he really is!). Check out the following screenshot:

What happened:

Elise and Mitch are both runners. All the others have posted for the second round of running except Elise and Mitch.

I saw Elise and Mitch online at the same time.

Elise posts the fourth RUN. Mitch apparently just wonders around the board, not bothering to post his fifth RUN for me to post the third hack. In this screenie, notice that Mitch was logged out AFTER Elise posted (then logged out after) the fourth run, meaning he had time to actually post the RUN, but of course, being the sneaky mole that he is, he chose not to. (Check out the Active Users in the Past 24 Hours part of the screenie.)

Why am I doing this?

First, because I want my pot to go up. I don't want the stupid mole to be doing stupid things trying to mess this whole thing up. I want to pressure the mole into actually contributing to the pot. After all, the mole wants to do everything sneakily and if people guess him on the quiz, or his pot would be reduced to nothing! I think the mole also doesn't want to be detected this early and with this kind of 'inquisition' I'm sure the mole would actually try to behave for a couple more episodes! To Breaux: I'm sorry about your Grandfather, who passed away September 4, 2008. I'm sure that he was a good man of honor and integrity and was a person you really looked up to. You have grown to be a fine, intelligent, hot and sexy young man and I'm sure he is proud of you. I pray that he be guiding you as you go through this journey.

To Kyle: I'm sorry about Alexis. I know it has been a tough decision for your girlfriend and you are saddened by the loss of an important part of your life. I'm sure he has gone to a better place and you will regain your composure to stop yourself from putting up obviously false analysis of who the mole is in your blog for this game.

To Richard: You were a fine competitor. You really tried to help us a lot in the One Hit Bloggers Mission and we all appreciate the effort you have put into it, and the whole game. We will miss you.

Confessional Two - Sixty Effing Cents

Ok, so Mission 2.1 blew over our faces. So much for clicking "Next Blog" endlessly... I really liked the challenge and I thought it was pretty much doable. I know I screwed up a few times but I didn't think that it was THAT easy to sabotage the whole thing...! I mean, one mistake?! C'mon... I thought Travis was going to be nicer than that! I don't think that we were judged fair in that mission. I think that eventhough Mitch screwed up, we should take into account all the other valid posts and if those good posts somehow count up to 100, then we should get our three dollars!

Kyle is the sexiest Mole alive.

Anyway, some of you are wondering how I made that floating thumbprint! Kinda neat, eh? Well it's pretty easy! By using the magical powers of CSS, we will make your blog prettier! If you want to add a blog wallpaper and you do not want it following you around as you scroll, then follow these steps!

1. Upload your image to Imageshack. Take note of the URL of the wallpaper. (If you have a direct link to your wallpaper, then that can work fine too!)
2. Go to your Blogger Dashboard.
3. Click the Layout link.
4. Click the Edit HTML tab.
5. [EXTRA STEP] For safety purposes, backup your current template. To do this, click the Download Full Template link. Save the XML file in a safe place.
6. Find the following text in the Edit Template section. Press CTRL+F to make your life easier! (Don't worry if it is not exactly like this, just find something similar in that huge chunk of text!)

Mission 2.3 - Comic Remix

My webcomic was inspired by Rich Burlew's Dungeons and Dragons parody called Order of the Stick.

I really want to win this challenge! I was so sure that nothing was going into the pot so I had to make sure something goes into MY pot. So I gave it my all!

The comic shows me, Jill, Elise, Brian, Kyle, Richard and Mitch played by OOTS characters.

Summary: Elise wants to KILL Jill and Ginger because they 'mistakenly' sabotaged her entry for the Best Pastry Mission. Ginger and Jill then seek Brian for help.

I can't believe I'm still here. I really can't. I really thought the penalty would get me executed but apparently it didn't! Now I'm ready to show what I'm really made of!

I'm just sad that Ellery and Cheri went (I mean, who cares about Player 15 right? Losers like that shouldn't even exist, but unfortunately, like old horny men, they show up in places they shouldn't). I really liked Cheri. She was one of the more active people in the game and definitely she didn't deserve to go. Her early AIM problems made her one of the more famous people in the game, and despite this, she was still able to finish her report and chat with many of the players. Ellery is a different case... Ironically, he offered me a coalition before he got executed:

This will be quick: I'm going 'ta-ta' in this game earlier than I thought! I totally missed today's challenge I was so busy with the blog that I forgot to mark it on my calendar! How irresponsible and stupid! I'm like, totally screwed for the first execution. I think three of the four who didn't attend will be executed. So it's either Me, Beth, Kyle and Player15. Player15 and Beth are quite inactives which mean Kyle and I would be fighting over the last spot. If Kyle is the Mole, I'm screwed.

So much for that $3 I just won. :(

Hello everyone! Well welcome finally to my blog. I hope you like looking around and snooping to see if I am the mole. But of course I'm not! <3

Anyhow, I had this great chat today with Cheri, Jill, Kyle, Blaise and Richard! We were just fooling around guessing if the mole was among us (which I think otherwise!). It was a great hour for all of us and I think these are five of the most wonderful people in the cast! When we were chatting, some people brought up problems with the new GChat and being the beauty and brains that I am, I was happy to answer their questions! For example, some people are having trouble figuring our who is who in emails and in GChat because not everybody changed their names from the defaults (so everybody shows up as Player One, Player Two, etc!).

To change the names of your contacts for easier identification in Chat, here are some steps:

1. Invite everybody to your email/GChat list. You should be able to do this on the Add Contact link near the GChat window in your Gmail account. Note that everybody's emails are omc6playerXY@gmail.com, where XY is their player number! Travis can be invited at omc6host@gmail.com.
2. Next, click on the Contacts link. This can be found at the above the GChat window!
3. Go to Most Contacted/Suggested Contacts.
4. For both panels, Select All and click Move To My Contacts.
5. Click My Contacts.
6. You should see all the people you've added there but their names are not what they are supposed to be!
7. Click the contact/person you want to edit.
8. Click the Edit button.
9. On the top-most box, add the name that you want that player to be identified as. If you're confused as to who is who, I have a list of all the players and their numbers at the right side of the blog! Convenient! <3
10. Click Save.
11. Unclick/unselect the person that you just edited. If you don't, you won't be able to click the Edit button!
12. Repeat 7-11 for the rest of your contacts!

Another thingy that people are not so used with is how to create Chatrooms. It's not that obvious but it can be done at GChat! Here are the steps on how to make a chatroom:

1. In the GChat window, click on the contact you want to start the Chat with. A small window should pop up in the lower right part of your screen!
2. [EXTRA STEP] Click Pop-out. The conversation window should be its own window now and not part of your original browser. I like to pop out all my chats (especially those ones with more people) so that I have more room to see all the messages. I hate scrolling!
3. Click on Options, then select Group Chat.
4. Then, it will ask you to invite more people. Add the email addresses of the contacts you want to include.
5. [EXTRA STEP] If you want to add more people after the chat started, scroll back to the top of the Chat window and there you will see the Invite More People link again!

Well, after a couple of days I finally finished my part in the Psychoanalysis! Just to remind you, here is the Inkbot I showed to everybody!
